Services offered by the Metallurgical and Analytical Laboratory include:

  • Analytical Laboratory services

    1. Sampling and Weighing Inspection.

    3. Chemical Testing:
      • Analysis of Aluminium, Arsenic, Calcium, Chromium, Cobalt, Copper, Gold, Iron, Magnesium, Nickel, Palladium, Platinum, Rhodium, Silicon, Silver and Sulphur.
      • Test methods include:
        1. Sodium Peroxide Fusion with AAS or ICP-OES Finish.
        2. Acid Digestion with AAS or ICP-OES Finish.
        3. Fire Assay with AAS or ICP-OES Finish.

  • Metallurgical Laboratory services

The analytical Laboratory is currently ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited for base metal analysis in nickel ores and concentrates, and regularly participates in various inter-laboratory / proficiency testing schemes.
